SUMMARY:Speech Reading Afternoon Course Level 2 Begins
DESCRIPTION:This Vancouver Community College course taught by Lisa Dillon Edgett is now called Living Successfully with Hearing Loss and will continue on-line until further notice.  In the past Lisa taught this course at the West Vancouver Seniors Activity Centre and at the Silver Harbour Senior Centre.  The format of the course has changed. The majority of the course content will be shared on a course website in weekly installments and a weekly Zoom call is scheduled to discuss\, review\, and practice the information.  These calls usually last about 60 to 90 minutes.  The course runs for 12 weeks. The classes have a maximum size of 8 so early registration is important. \nVCC is offering two on-line Level 1 and two on-line Level 2  and two on-line Level 3 courses this Fall.  Registration is now open for these courses. \n  \n  \nLevel 2 Afternoon Option \nWednesday afternoons\, 1 pm\nDates:  Sept 10 to Nov 26 \nTuition and fees for the course are approximately $315.00; financial support may be available via a successful application for senior tuition waivers or adult upgrading grants. \nFor more information\, or to request registration forms\, contact Lisa Dillon Edgett:\n604-871-7348 or ldillonedgett@vcc.ca \n
