Walk 2 Hear

This is a national annual fundraising event organized by CHHA National.  Locally, it is put on by the CHHA Vancouver Branch.  It raises money for YAN (Young Adults Network).  Walk2Hear is a wonderful opportunity to meet others in the hearing loss community, and to support accessibility, local connections, education, and advocacy.

CHHA Vancouver is excited to be hosting the 15th Annual Walk2Hear this year on Sunday, September 14, 2025 at Jericho Beach Park at the grassy area by the Jericho East parking lot and Jericho pond.  It will take place Rain or Shine!😊

Join us for this fantastic event to reconnect with and support the Hard of Hearing and Deaf community in Vancouver.  Last year’s Walk2Hear was a tremendous success, and we hope to see many familiar faces again.  Feel free to invite your family, friends, students, and healthcare colleagues to participate!

All abilities of walkers and runners are welcome. The walk/run takes place on a wide dirt path at Jericho Beach Park.  Walkers will do 1 lap of the route (2.2km), and runners will do 2 laps (4.5km).

Accessibility: CART captioning and American Sign Language (ASL) interpreters will be present. There is an accessible washroom in the concession building. *Note that the event takes place on grassy areas / dirt paths.

Registration is at 1:00 pm, and the Walk/Run begins at 1:30.
