The Annual General Meeting (AGM) must be held within 6 months of the end of the fiscal year. This meeting has traditionally taken place on the third Monday of September. However, this past year with the illness and subsequent passing of Hugh Hetherington, the meeting was not held at that time. CHHA-NSB has had a turbulent year. Last November CHHA-NSB members voted to dissolve the branch and become part of CHHA-BC. However with some new members joining the board, that decision has been reversed and CHHA-NSB has revitalized. We are looking for more members, more volunteers, and more people to join the board. Nomination letters have been sent out to all current members and a copy is available at the end of this article.
CHHA-NSB will hold this year’s AGM via Zoom on Monday, November 30, 2026 at 7:00 pm. At this meeting the CHHA-NSB president will present the Annual Report and the Financial Report to the members. The members also will elect the board members for coming 1 year period. This meeting is open to current members, as well as anyone wishing to become a member, as well as the general public.

The AGM also features a key note speaker-always informative and enjoyable. Information about the key note speaker will be posted as soon as it is available.
The meeting is open to the public and there are no restrictions on the number of participants. The meeting will be conducted in English. Please note that “Live Transcription/Closed Captioning” will be enabled on the Zoom meeting.
