On June 2, learn about ‘What to do when hearing aids are not enough?’ with Dorota Simpson & Raegan Bergstrom
 
Are you or a loved one struggling with your hearing even when using hearing aids? You are not alone. Join us for this fun, educational session to learn about different types of hearing losses and implantable solutions available in Canada. During this session, we will take a close look at the features and benefits of implantable hearing solutions, Health Canada criteria, followed by Q & A.
 
Also on June 2, join Alison Butler who will be focusing on ‘5 Benefits of Learning to Speech (Lip) Read.’
 
Learn how to feel more connected to the world around you through learning or enhancing speech (lip) reading skills with the Read Our Lips online learning program. This interactive presentation will teach you 5 benefits of lipreading, including how to use your skills in our new virtual world filled with video calls. Plus start your virtual lipreading learning during the session as Alison walks you through some practice exercises live!
 
On June 3, Abby Stonehouse will be entertaining us as we learn about ‘Arts and Accessibility: A Funny HOH’s perspective.’
 
You know her from the 2019’s CHHA Conference where she entertained the masses at Montreal’s first fully accessible comedy show, Comedy for a Cause: Accessibility for all. Join comedian Abby Stonehouse as she talks about her life as a stand-up comedian living with hearing loss. Learn about her journey to discovering her passion for accessibility and her plan of tearing down barriers in the stand-up comedy world.
